I've had this shirt lying around for like a year. I keep meaning to throw it in the donate box because no one will claim it. I was about to throw it in, but decided instead to finally try a knit shirt refashion. It was so easy.
BEFORE
AFTER:
I would have taken more pictures. But I didn't know how it would turn out. To get the right shape, I folded the shirt in half and lied one of my favorite tees (also folded in half) on top of it and cut the sides. Then I re-sewed the sides. Next I cut a new neckline and zig-zaged the edge with an elastic thread. I originally wanted to put ruffles around the neckline, but I wanted to finish it fast and went with little flowers instead. It was so easy. It took less than an hour. I already have a million ideas of what I want to make next.
