I thought I better join all the fun at Elsie Marley's, kid clothes week in hopes of finishing my back to school refashions.
Today's refashion comes from this little sun dress. I liked the seersucker fabric and ruffle at the bottom.
This was my first try at shirring. I had to unpick it a couple of times, but I'm happy with the end result.
I also used elastic thread around the sleeves.
Of course I had to add pockets, something we both love.
I've learned so much doing these refashions. I hope you are enjoying them as much as I do.

I've just started repurposing and sewing children's clothes. Check out them on my blog sometime.
