Jessie Steele Apron Giveaway- CLOSED

One of you lucky readers is going to win an apron from Jessie Steele.

Jessie Steele aprons were created by a mother and daughter after collecting vintage aprons for years. They combined the vintage charm and style with a 21st century fit and appeal.

These aprons are not only beautiful and feminine, they are designed to make the woman who wears them look and feel good.

They have a huge selection of hostess, chef and children's aprons.

I especially love viewing them in collections with matching towels, pot holders and oven mitts.

I know you want one.

Here is your chance.

Jessie Steele is giving away this fabulous Cream and Black Damask Chef Apron.

It's a durable sturdy apron with tons of style. You know how much that means to me.

Here's how to enter:

1) Leave a comment and tell me what you think is the  #1 quality in an apron. Make sure to leave your email address.

2) For a second entry visit Jessie Steele on facebook and like them, then leave me a comment telling me you did it.

Giveaway ends Sunday March 13th at 10pm MST.

Thanks for being part of our week of apron inspiration.

  1. hmmm, you would think it's durability, but I might say cuteness :)

  2. i would have to say that it does it's job and keeps me from getting messy. i am very messy in the kitchen

    ReplyDelete
  3. Good quality and cuteness are tied. I want something that lasts but I also want something I love to wear.

    ReplyDelete
  4. It has to wash well...because I use an apron and have found a few that look cute but aren't really wash and wear items :-)

    ReplyDelete
  5. Fabric. I hate aprons that are really thin material that absorbs water. When I wash dishes I want the apron to help protect my clothes, not just be another layer that gets wet (I'm a messy dish-washer!) (nibblesskribblesATgmailDOTcom)

  6. My aprons need to have full coverage- top to bottom, side to side. Not only am I messy, but so are my short-stature helpers. Thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  7. I would say cuteness for sure, and that it washes well. these ones are SO adorable!

    ReplyDelete
  8. yeah, cuteness. :) My aprons hang for everyone to see, so it's important that they look good. haha.

  9. durability is definitely first on the list, but cuteness is a very close second. :) Oh, and pockets...I love an apron with pockets!

    ReplyDelete
  10. I love a cute apron - but it has to be sturdy & fit right. All of the cuteness in the world doesn't make up for a flimsy apron.

  11. I believe the #1 quality in an apron is the way it makes me feel when I’m wearing it. I love feeling like cooking and baking is FUN instead of work. An apron makes me feel like I dressed for the occasion of baking (as funny as that sounds). : )

  12. I LOVE when there is a detachable hand towel on the apron! I think it's great to be able to wipe your hands down while cooking/baking and not make your beautful apron a mess! krisbuck (@) hotmail (dot) com

  13. What I love about an apron...I like if it is comfortable, wide enough to tie around my plus size waist and good coverage so that I am still not wearing flour after taking it off.

    ReplyDelete
  14. I follow Jessie Steel on Facebook.

  15. It has to be easy to put on! I don't want several ties that need to be done each time. It looks like this one has a halter top, which is so much easier!

  21. Gorgeous aprons. I would say that it covers me and is super cute. I'm a personal chef, I do a lot of cooking and want to look cute in my aprons.

  22. My most needed quality is length! I need it to be long enough or I get flour and everything all over my pants- I guess I am either too tall or just too messy:)

  24. For me, the number one quality in an apron is how it looks. If it looks junky, chances are I won't wear it. A cute apron, however, will be unlikely for me to ever take off. ^_^

  25. For me, the #1 factor is all about cuteness! I have aprons that I want to just wear as part of my outfit because they are so cute.

    ReplyDelete
  26. #1 quality is that it covers but cuteness is right up there!! Gorgeous aprons

  27. having a place to wipe my hands instead of running over to get a hand towel off the stove and having to put it back every time i need to wipe my hands. jslowe7205 (at) yahoo (dot) com

  28. I love these vintage inspired aprons. They remind me of visiting my Grandmother who wore an apron every day.

    ReplyDelete
  29. I'm short and small, so adjustability is big for me!

    ReplyDelete
  30. that apron is so cute! i think that an adjustable neck strap is the most important part of an apron, because i hate having to stick a safety pin up there or tie a knot in it because it doesn't fit right. maybe i'm just mis-shapen. either way, love this apron!

  31. i "liked" jessie steele on facebook!

  32. I think the number one quality is fit! I know I'm not the ideal shape, but getting aprons that allow for "spill over" is awful :D

I also think durability is a number one attribute :D

    ReplyDelete
  39. I think durability and cuteness...

  40. I love it! So beautiful! I think my favorite quality in an apron is the perfect balance of functionality and beauty. I am very old fashioned, mainly because I grew up with my British grandmother living in the house with us - she always wore an apron, and nothing plain, always a beautiful vintage apron. When Grandma would "tidy up" she would put things in her pockets until she found a home for them (mostly MY bobby pins that were scattered thoughout the house).

    Thanks!

  41. of course the most important thing is keeping you clean, but I think you want the second thing, so I would say comfort. I have an apron that is uncomfortable so I don't wear it as often as I would.

  42. The most important thing for me when I look to purchase an apron is if it looks good! If I have company for a meal or party, I want to look cute, not "grandmaish".

  43. I think it would have to be style, I want something that will make me feel like I look good no matter what I'm doing in it.

  44. Well if I was sensible I'd say washability - I want to be able throw it into the washer and dryer without worrying. But really it's the look of it! And the prize apron is gorgeous.

  50. These aprons are adorable! I have two aprons that I never wear because it looks like I tied a bag round me, which gets the job done, but I want to feel pretty too. So I guess the #1 quality is cuteness! :)

  94. I Love to cook, but I hate when my hands get messy. The problem is that I am a very messy cook. I need one that I can clean my hands on all day and wash and wear again the next. The bonus is looking chic while wearing it.;)

    ReplyDelete
  95. Useful pockets are my #1 need. And durability. I get my aprons so dirty...

    ReplyDelete
  96. The most important thing about an apron is that it is durable and won't come apart in my washing machine. Yeah that just happened to me this week. ugh!
    ehumphries3@gmail.com

    ReplyDelete
  97. Quality fabric is number 1! It needs to be able to get dirty, washed and worn numerous times and still be able to look nice. It also needs the right type of fabric that will dry my hands and not have beads of water dripping off of it.

    ReplyDelete
  98. I loved what one person said about an apron needing to actually protect you from water and mess, and not just be a thin layer that's going to allow things to soak through to your clothes. But if I had an apron THIS cute.. I'd probably wear it when I made low-mess meals, and wear my not-so-attractive apron when I cooked with oil and things that could stain. ;]
