Homemade gifts part 3

Giving Homemade gifts has become second nature for me. My family has had the tradition of making our gifts for each other for over 15 years. I actually find it extremely difficult to shop for people.  I think it's so much easier to make stuff than to buy something meaningful. You can find my posts on handmade gifts from last year HERE and HERE.
Having said that, I don't want you all to think I'm a big liar, so I'll tell you now, I actually bought our gifts for the men in our family this year. Not because I didn't have any ideas, I had a few, but because their was something my husband has been wanting to give the men for  years. I decided to make my life easier this year and let him give the bought gifts.  I'm glad I got that off my chest.

Since I can't show you the gifts I've been working on, I thought I would share some of the handmade gifts I've made this year. Most of them are easy and could be made in an afternoon with supplies you may already have at home. If you're super cool and have already seen all this, sorry and I'll try share something new soon.

  9. I wanted to thank you for making your mod podged trees. I was struggling to come up with a gift for my friend on the other end of the country, when I remembered your project. She doesn't have much in the way of home decor, but rather loves to hang photos of her family.

I had her trace and scan her kids' hands and arms and email them to me. I'm printing them off as we speak (gotta love procrastination!) and will be making the trees tonight. I can't wait to hear how she likes them.

I'll be posting about it after she gets them and will link back, but I wanted to thank you while I'm here! I love everything that you've done this year and can't wait to see your revealed gifts. :)
