Why you shouldn't let people know you sew!

My cute daughter told her teacher I sewed her outfit and a month later I was asked to make 23 penguin costumes.
I was in charge of making all the white bibs and wings. It wasn't hard, just time consuming.
Luckily I have two good friends with daughters in the same class. I made them help me cut most of it out.
They may not have got all their lines right, but they sure did look cute.

I have been in the same position but didn't have to sew 23 penguins suits. I'm crafty so of course I was asked to make this or that but it's for the kids so what the heck? The penguins came out adorable. The yellow feet are cute too.

They all look so cute. Well done (especially for dragging in helpers!).

I'm quite shy about my sewing/crafting, but my husband loves telling people when my son is wearing homemade clothes. Now I know why I should be shy about it!
